Does Muetual work out who owes whom?
No — and that’s on purpose. Muetual is for tracking and budgeting what you spend together, not for splitting bills or chasing debts. You see the shared total and the trend; who settles up is between you.
How do I share an Expenses Sheet?
Open the sheet, go to Members, and invite someone by email. Once they accept, everyone on the sheet sees the same live data. You choose whether each member can view or edit.
Which platforms is Muetual on?
The web app runs in any modern browser at muetual.app, and there’s an Android app. iOS is on the roadmap. Your data is the same everywhere — it lives with your account, not the device.
Can I use different currencies?
Yes. Each sheet has its own currency, and amounts are formatted to match — handy for a home in one currency and a trip in another.
Is my data private?
Your sheets are visible only to you and the people you explicitly invite. We don’t sell your data or run ads. See our Privacy policy for the details.
